Bike Month is rolling along in Vineyard! The community recently kicked off the celebrations with an amazing Bike to School Day and a Bike Storytime at the library. Commuters also gathered early in the month to ride together and celebrate the community for Bike to Work Day with a morning stop at UVU.
Another major highlight was the Bike Rodeo at Grove Park. Organized in partnership with the Vineyard Sheriff’s Office, the event focused on teaching essential bike safety. The first 50 kids in attendance received a free helmet, and everyone got to enjoy ice cream afterward.
If you want to join the fun, there are still tons of activities coming up all month long:
The Vineyard Business Bike Bingo runs from May 21 to May 26. Residents can bike to local businesses to complete a bingo card, then stop by City Hall to collect a prize.
The Tour of Utah City takes place on May 23 at 10:00 AM. This group ride travels from Trailside Elementary to Berliner Park at Utah City, with treats provided by Bella’s Market.
The America 250 Ping Pong Bike Scavenger Hunt will run from May 25 to May 29. Participants can follow along on social media for daily clues to win a prize.
Don’t forget to collect a different Vineyard bike sticker at every single event you attend! For more information on the remaining schedule, visit bit.ly/vineyardbikemonth.
