A new standard of racquet sports is coming to Utah County. Utah City, the 700-acre mixed-use development located in Vineyard along the eastern shore of Utah Lake, has announced a partnership with Los Angeles-based platform LVBL to debut the Utah City Racquet Club. Scheduled to open on June 13, 2026, the curated space is designed to blend sport, music, and community into a modern reimagining of the traditional club experience.
Utah City is partnering with LVBL to deliver a facility equipped with two tennis courts, four padel courts, and six pickleball courts. LVBL has a established track record in major metropolitan areas across the country, creating purpose-built environments tailored to how the next generation wants to play.
To celebrate the launch, a public grand opening event will take place on Saturday, June 13, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The community celebration will feature a live DJ, local food trucks, children’s games, adult clinics, and prize giveaways.
Jacklyn Briggs, Director of Marketing for Utah City, expressed enthusiasm for the project, stating that the partnership reflects a deep commitment to creating environments where social connection and community building serve as the centerpiece of Utah City Athletics programming.
In addition to traditional favorites, the club will be one of the first in Utah County to feature padel, a sport that originated in Mexico and gained widespread popularity in Spain. The United States Padel Association reported that over one million Americans played the sport in 2025, with national projections estimating 10 million players by 2030.
Guy Logan, Founder and CEO of LVBL, noted that the signature game of the platform, Liveball, is a high-energy, fast-paced format that balances community, cardio, and competition. Logan stated that Utah City’s purposeful fostering of community aligns perfectly with how modern players want to experience sports in an inclusive and approachable manner.
The club’s format aims to bring beginners, social players, and competitive athletes together into a singular, dynamic environment rather than segregating players rigidly by skill level. The full ecosystem at the facility will offer high-energy adult clinics, private lessons tailored to individual performance, youth camps focusing on long-term fundamentals, and open play sessions designed for constant rotation.
Directly opposite the club, visitors will find Bella’s Market, Fini Pizza, and Fini Café, providing convenient food and beverage options for players after their matches.
For a limited time, residents living in the Utah City development will receive a complimentary two-year membership to the Racquet Club, which will remain valid through the end of their lease terms. Prospective founding members can join the waitlist, download the LVBL app for programming updates, or visit utahcityracquetclub.com for more information.
