David Lauret – Candidate Overview

David Lauret is a longtime Utah County resident who has lived in Vineyard for nearly 12 years. He recently retired after a career in education-related industries, including work as a psychometrician designing and interpreting certification and licensure exams. With a Ph.D. from Nova Southeastern University, David brings both academic and professional expertise to civic life. He has attended nearly every city leadership meeting for the past eight years and advised Councilman Jacob Holdaway, gaining first-hand knowledge of city issues. David also serves on the Vineyard Heritage Foundation board. He is campaigning on transparency, accountability, and citizen-focused governance.
